How to Use BHIM App For Cashless Transactions ?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched BHIM (Bharat Interface For Money) App that allows people to link their mobile numbers to smartphones and make cashless transactions. BHIM App will make the use of Aadhar Card authentication to make cashless transactions. As of now , BHIM App is available only for android but we can expect that the app will available for IOS and other platforms soon.
The BHIM App can be set up within few click and allow us safe , secure and simple cashless transactions. One can also scan QR code and send/receive payments and make cashless transactions. It’s not a mobile wallet , as it is directly linked to your bank account(s).
The Aadhar-based payment application allows users to check the bank balance directly from the app. There is a limit of Rs.10,000 per transaction and Rs.20,000 in 24 hours.
The app is developed by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). The app is available only in hindi and english , but soon it will support other languages.

There is no any problem in download and installing the BHIM App since it is already available on google play store.

How to Use BHIM App for Cashless transactions ?
Payment through the new Aadhar card payment app is quite simpler and easier. After downloading the app from playstore , user need to register on the BHIM app by his/her bank account and set up a UPI Pin for it. The user’s mobile number will become the payment address. Once registered , user can start the cashless transaction from the BHIM app. The money can also be sent to non-UPI supported banks. This can be done using MMID and IFSC.
The BHIM app is made simplistic and it has three primary functions , Send Money , Request Money and Scan and Pay. Send Money , allows users to send money by typing in the UPI address which is “phone number@UPI”. Similarly users can request for money by putting UPI address in ‘Request tab’. Also one can scan the QR code of merchant in order to send/receive money. It works similar to the PayTM App and other wallets. Users can transact upto Rs.10,000 in one transaction ans Rs.20,000 in 24 hours.
